The highest-grossing player at the WPT Alpha8 Florida final table (just barely edging out Jason Mercier), J.C. Tran has done nothing but crush the poker circuit since his very first profitable outing back in 2003. With more than $11 million in career earnings, two WPT Champions Cups, two WSOP bracelets, and WPT Player of the Year honors from Season V, Tran is one of the most accomplished players at this final table.

Most recently, he was a member of the 2013 WSOP November Nine – finishing 5th for more than $2 million – and just a week ago took down the WPT Rolling Thunder event for that second WPT title.

At the WPT Alpha8 Florida final table, the 37-year-old faces one of his toughest challenges yet as he competes against some of the best players on the World Poker Tour under the lights and in front of the cameras of  A8’s inaugural event. Not only that, but there’s millions on the line, including his own $100,000 buy-in.

Can J.C. call upon over a decade of experience on the felt and at high-pressure final tables to take down this first-ever WPT Alpha8 event? Tune in to our premiere at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Sunday, March 30 on FOX Sports 1 to find out.
