To say that Joseph Cheong has a lot of experience at the final tables of high-stakes, high roller events would be a little bit of an understatement. At last count, Cheong has appeared at the final table of six different events that actually have the words “High Roller” in the title, and that number doesn’t even include his third-place finish as a member of the November Nine at the 2010 WSOP Main Event. With the $4 million he received for that finish, plus his many, many other cashes at major events, Cheong’s career live earnings sits at just a little less than $9 million.

What makes the WPT Alpha8 Florida final table special is that Cheong is actually behind two other players at the final table in career earnings (Jason Mercier and JC Tran) and joins Isaac Haxton as the fourth member of the top 40 all-time money winners at this final table. That’s a huge collection of talent and experience at one final table.

All-Time Money Winners at the WPT Alpha8 Florida final table (per Hendon Mob):

16. JC Tran – $11,214,251
20. Jason Mercier – $10,492,058
32. Joseph Cheong – $8,946,445
38. Isaac Haxton – $8,298,451

There will be fireworks and you’d better be watching. So, tune in to the first WPT Alpha8 episode when it premieres on FOX Sports 1 at 9pm ET (6pm PT) this Sunday, March 30.
