Los Angeles, CA (June 3, 2020) The World Poker Tour® and partypoker have concluded the largest event series in partypoker history. The WPT® Online Series set numerous records, including the most single-event entries in WPT Main Tour and WPTDeepStacks history.
The series sets a new high bar for the World Poker Tour and partypoker in their first online festival partnership.
Some of the incredible numbers achieved during the series include:
111,183 entries recorded across 94 events in 29 days
$52.877 million awarded in prize money
2,130 entries in the WPT Online Championship to mark the largest WPT Main Tour event in history, won by Christian Jeppsson for $923,786
3,554 entries in the WPTDeepStacks Online for the most entries ever in a WPTDeepStacks event, won by Jareth East for $557,658
The WPT Online leaderboard also crowned a worthy champion in Russia’s Viktor Ustimov. 15 cashes, three final tables, two wins, and a second-place finish in the WPT Online Championship earned Ustimov the crown and an $11,000 partypoker LIVE Passport. $50,000 was awarded in total prizes to the top-15 finishers in the leaderboard race.
