Coming up in May are a group of huge events from the World Poker Tour, triumphantly on display at the new, state-of-the-art Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Resort & Casino.
First up is the conclusion of the WPT Bellagio $25,000 High Roller on May 25. The televised final table kicks off at 4 p.m. local time, featuring Tom Marchese, David Peters, Aaron Ogus, Sam Soverel, Rainer Kempe, and Jake Schindler. The final six players are competing for $432,000 in first-place prize money and this is your chance to watch some of the game’s greatest players under the bright lights and cameras of the epic World Poker Tour stage.
Then on May 26, the televised final table for the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions takes place. The cards will be in the air at 4 p.m. local time for the filming of the televised final table, with six WPT champions set to compete for the right to be called this season’s champion of champions.
If that’s not enough, two more events will take place at Esports Arena Las Vegas on May 27 and 28. A special taping of a televised $100-$200 no-limit hold’em cash game will take place on May 27, then May 28 will see the arena host the ClubWPT Challenge the Champs tournament.
All throughout, the World Poker Tour welcomes poker enthusiasts and World Poker Tour fans for a special WPT experience at Esports Arena Las Vegas. Starting at 1 p.m. each day, guests will be able to enjoy games, food, drinks, and more inside the incredible 30,000 square-foot multi-level arena. Prizes will be up for grabs, from WPT swag to WPT500 Las Vegas seats. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win a comprehensive WPT home game set courtesy of BBO Poker Tables, partner of the World Poker Tour.
While inside Esports Arena Las Vegas, guests are welcome to grab drinks at one of two bars, enjoy the gamer-inspired menu created by world-renowned chef José Andrés, and battle with their family and friends at vintage video games. For the final table of each event, the audience can enjoy the action live with play broadcast on the massive 50-foot LED video wall that is flanked by two additional video walls.
