During WPT Grand Prix de Paris, WPT host Vince Van Patten and the WPT Royal Flush Girls took a trip out to Normandy, France, to visit the AVA Refuge 76, an animal refuge and rescue sponsored by actress Kristin Scott Thomas, as part of a WPT Foundation initiative.
The goal of the shelter is to provide an alternative to euthanasia in older animals nearing the end of their lives, a welcoming place for dogs deemed behaviorally “difficult” and a refuge for animals living in difficult situations that makes taking care of the animal impossible. Dr. Thierry Bedossa and his team of enthusiasts and professionals ensure the welfare of all animals that come into their care.
