WPT Germany comes to the resort of King’s Casino in Rozvadov this February 18. The last time a WPT event took place here, it was the WPTDeepStacks in July earlier this season.
This time it is the Main Tour that will be knocking at the door of King’s Casino, Rozvadov, offering poker enthusiasts a full schedule of poker events that will play out over ten days.
It is the first time that the Main Tour graces the quaint town that sits just a stone’s throw from the Czech-German border. Opened in 2012, King’s Resort is the largest poker room in Europe and one that has built an iconic reputation in the field in less than eight years since its inception.
Marc Goeschel was the most recent player to enter the WPTDS record books in Rozvadov. The German reigned supreme over a field of 371, after beating Claudio Di Giacomo heads up and netting himself €107,970 in prizes.
As always, the flagship Main Event is at the heart of the festival. This year the entry fee is €3,000 + €300 and the prize-pool guarantee is a whopping €1.5 million. Once again, via partypoker LIVE, hopefuls can play Day 1 and 2 online. That means that any players who survive to Day 3, will combine with the live field with a guaranteed cash under their belts.
There are also plenty of opportunities to take to the felt, with the €550 Opener (€500,000 guaranteed), the €5,300 High Roller, the €1,100 Closer, and the €220 Ladies Event just a few of the highlights.
