Florida is set to become the heart of high-stakes poker action this April. With back to back televised WPT Main Events, players from around the world will be travelling to the Sunshine State in hopes of becoming the next member of the WPT Champions Club.

Adding intrigue to these Tour stops is the fact that poker players 18 years of age and older can enter, unlike many other U.S. states where the legal age is 21. To highlight the young players in the field during these two WPT Main Events, both the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown (April 18 – 23) and the WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open (April 27 – May 2) will be awarding special prizes to the “Last Player Standing Under 21.”

WPT Blog has gotten our hands on the award to be given away during the WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open. The “Last Player Standing under 21” will win a ready-to-ride (or display) custom-made surfboard. The board was produced by Atlantic Beach resident Mike Whisnant, one of the premier shapers on the East Coast.

Check it out along with photos of the BRAND NEW BestBet Jacksonville facility. This state-of-the-art poker complex opened up its doors only weeks ago and is home to one of the biggest poker rooms in the U.S.
