Ranging from $5,000 for WPT Borgata Poker Open seat to $27,000 for a WPT World Championship experience, these qualifiers give regular poker players the chance to get their name engraved on the WPT Champions Cup and win life-changing prize money atthe same time.

This time around, ClubWPT is proud to introduce ClubWPT qualifier Steve Burns, who won a $5,000 package for WPT Legends of Poker. Scheduled to take place at The Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles on Aug 29 – Sep 4, 2013, this $3,500 buy-in event drew 622 entrants last year and awarded $500,000 to eventual WPT Champion Josh Hale.

Have you played any other poker tournaments before?
Yes, but only small buy-in tourneys in Tunica.

If so, did you finish in the money?
Yes, won a few as well.

Who is your favorite poker professional and why?
No real favorite, but [Chris] Moneymaker is th emost inspirational for an amateur like me.

Is there anyone you’re excited to meet during your time at the Legends of Poker?

Is there any poker player you wouldn’t want to see at your poker table?
Johnny Chan

What would you consider a successful performance at the tournament?
Winning it all is the goal, but making the final table or cashing would be considered successful to me.
