The inaugural WPT Parx Open Poker Classic is just days away, and the tournament is drawing some of poker’s biggest names to the City of Brotherly Love. And, even though they may be friends (or at least, friendly) when they’re away from the tournament table, we’re sure the competition on the felt will be fierce with this cast of characters occupying the Parx Casino Poker Room in Philadelphia.
Some of the big names who’ll be competing to win the WPT’s first televised event of Season XI include Brian Hastings, Christian Harder, Dan O’Brien, Darryl Fish, Matt Glantz, WPT Champions Dwyte Pilgrim, Jonathan Little, and Will “The Thrill” Failla, WPT Season IX Player of the Year Andy Frankenberger, WPT Season X Player of the Year Joe Serock, and the first poker player to ever win back-to-back WPT titles (WPT Championship and WPT Merit Cyprus Classic two days ago), Marvin Rettenmaier.
Day 1A of this incredible event starts at 12pm on Friday, August 10, so there’s still time to join this illustrious field and play for your chance to have your name engraved on the WPT Champions Cup.
