Las Vegas, NV (October 6, 2022) – In the weeks and months since the World Poker Tour® announced the WPT® World Championship, players from around the globe have been qualifying in a myriad of ways for a seat to the $15,000,000 guaranteed event.
Ultimately, WPT expects more than 500 players to qualify for the World Championship via online and offline pathways. Satellites to the WPT World Championship are offered through WPT Global*, ClubWPT™ and the WPT Feeder and Funnel Program, which utilizes live casino partners across the world.

WPT ambassadors Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen each hosted an online meet-up game event on ClubWPT, which awarded a $12,000 WPT World Championship passport to the winner. The grand prize of Neeme’s tournament went to Stacey Breslin, product manager from Lakemoor, Illinois. Owen ended up winning his own tournament and gifted the grand prize to the second-place finisher, Billy Haines, a semi-retired airline pilot from Superior, Colorado.
The $12,000 WPT World Championship Passport packages encompass the $10,400 buy-in to the main event, a four-night stay at Wynn Las Vegas and $1,000 cash for travel expenses. Along with the Passport, satellite winners receive official WPT branded merchandise and will have access to exclusive VIP experiences during the World Championship festival.
As the single largest funnel for players to play in the WPT World Championship, WPT Global offers international online players the chance to win entry to the $10,400 WPT World Championship, with a $2,000 stipend for travel expenses*.
Opportunities for ClubWPT members to win a package run every Sunday in October at 5:30 PM ET, except for Oct. 23, which runs at 4:00 PM ET. There is no purchase necessary to play on ClubWPT. WPT Global will qualify at least one player every day from now until Nov. 20. A $550 buy-in satellite runs at 9:15 PM ET daily and guarantees one seat to the World Championship. Each Sunday, the same satellite guarantees eight seats. Players can win their way into one of these $550 satellites through daily $5 and $55 mega satellites*.
The Wynn Las Vegas will hold live satellites throughout October, November, and early December. Upcoming satellites include $1,100 buy-in tournaments on Oct. 16 and Oct. 30 with 10 seats guaranteed.
The coup de grâce of live satellite qualifiers at the Wynn will be a 50-seat guarantee held on Sunday Dec. 11 at 12:00 PM PT, one day before Day 1A of the World Championship.
