Las Vegas, NV (August 15, 2022) – In June, World Poker Tour® announced the WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas with a $15 million guaranteed prize pool – the largest single live tournament guarantee in the history of poker. World Poker Tour has teamed up with multiple partners around the world to allow players the opportunity to qualify for this historic event at a live venue near them or from the comfort of their own home.

Players in the United States can win one of 40 available seats to December WPT Championships on ClubWPT.com. Each Sunday, players in both the VIP and Diamond level of membership will have the opportunity to take home a $12,000 WPT World Championship Passport which includes the $10,400 buy-in, a three-night stay at Wynn Las Vegas and $1,000 for travel expenses. Players will also have a dedicated ClubWPT™ VIP host, receive ClubWPT merchandise and have an exclusive meet and greet with WPT talent. There is no purchase necessary to play on ClubWPT. Players outside of the United States can qualify on WPTGlobal.com for as little as $5. Direct satellites into the WPT World Championship run each week on WPT Global. WPT Global qualifiers earn the $10,400 WPT World Championship entry as well as a $2,000 travel stipend. They will also receive exclusive WPT Global merchandise and an opportunity to meet WPT talent and ambassadors. As the host of this historic event, Wynn Las Vegas is hosting satellites regularly from now through the start of the event. Their next satellite is scheduled for Sept. 5 at noon PT. The $1,100 buy-in satellite, which is part of the Wynn Signature Series, guarantees at least 10 seats to the WPT World Championship. To offer qualifying options around the world, the WPT created the WPT Feeder and Funnel program which allows card rooms of any size to run satellites for both the WPT World Championship and the WPT Prime Championship. Many WPT Main Tour and Prime partners will also host satellites to the WPT World Championship throughout the remainder of the year.
Players in South Korea, India, Taiwan, Australia, Cambodia, Japan, and Canada will have the opportunity to win their seat into the WPT World Championship and WPT Prime Championship at live venues in their home country through the FFP.
