WPT® World Championship to Offer 12 Days of Livestreaming Events

Fans around the world can look forward to 12 days of livestreamed action from the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, featuring high stakes cash games and tournament play.

Las Vegas, NV (December 7, 2022) The WPT® World Championship Festival includes a full livestreaming schedule for poker fans around the globe to follow the action live from Wynn Las Vegas. The livestream schedule includes multiple final tables, four-day coverage of the $15 Million guaranteed WPT World Championship, including the grand finale, and the debut of one of the highest stakes cash game segments in poker history.

“Livestreaming was always going to be an instrumental component to our World Championship schedule,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska “We are committed to presenting some of the most compelling poker content and our livestreaming schedule helps assure global reach, highlighting some of the excitement on property during the 20th Anniversary World Championship Festival.”

From Dec. 8 through Dec. 20, content will be livestreamed on both the World Poker Tour® YouTube and Twitch channels. Coverage starting times vary each day and extend for up to 12 hours a day. Here is a breakdown of the scheduled content:

To kick off the 12-days of streaming on Dec. 8 at 12:30 pm PST, a $50/$100 vlogger’s cash game will run. The game will include the likes of WPT Ambassadors Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, Johnnie Vibes, Ethan Yau, a.k.a. “Rampage,” and more.

A Ladies cash game, with limits from up to $50/$100, is slated for Dec. 9. The dedicated stream will feature notable women in poker and include an all-female commentary team.

On Dec. 10 and 11, WPT is resurrecting the once-treasured cash game, Rail Heaven. The high-stakes cash game segment, offering No Limit Hold’em stakes as high as $1,000/$2,000 will showcase the most famous names in poker including WPT Ambassador Phil Ivey, Eric Persson, Ben Lamb, and more.

The first tournament action to hit the streaming schedule runs on Dec. 12, covering the final table of the $25,700 No Limit Hold’em High Roller event.

WPT has partnered with the ever-popular Only Friends Podcast to host a live show prior to each WPT World Championship starting flight. The pre-game shows, starting at 9:45 a.m. on Day 1A, 1B, and 1C, feature the Only Friends cast along with special guests to cultivate an exciting atmosphere in the Encore Ballroom for players and fans alike.

Some of the world’s most popular content creators will also be under the lights, playing for big money on Dec. 14 and 15. Popular Twitch Streamer and YouTuber Alexandra Botez spearheads the lineup for the creator cash game with stakes up to $50/$100.

Blanket coverage of the WPT World Championship begins on Dec. 16, Day 3 of the six-day main event, follows play-down action through Day 5 on Dec. 18, then culminates with the grand finale, final table on Dec. 20.

The thrilling conclusions of the $1,100 WPT Ladies Championship and $1,100 WPT Prime Championship will also be streamed on Dec. 18 and 19, respectively. All three Championship final tables are filmed for television, along with the livestream coverage.

A special $100/$200 cash game livestream is slated for a day after the WPT World Championship conclusion. The cash game, which runs from 2:00 p.m. PST to midnight on Dec. 21, will stream on Fubo TV, a proud platform partner of WPT, and be shot for television.
