While Jonathan Roy was busy making WPT history by taking down WPT Montreal and getting his name engraved on the WPT Champions Cup, on the rail cheering on Jeff Gross was a spectator who has made some history of his own, Olympic legend Michael Phelps.
Phelps arrived in Montreal as a surprise for his roommate and best friend Jeff Gross, waking them up on the morning of the final table:
