Yingui Li topped a massive field of 736 players at Cercle Clichy-Montmartre to win the Season XIV PMU.fr WPT National Paris Main Event, earning €150,000. The event guaranteed a total prize pool of €500,000, and smashed that number by more than 50%, generating a total purse of €794,900. The top 81 players reached the money, earning a minimum of €19,500.

The final day was fully live streamed on the PMU.fr YouTube channel and Marrakech Poker Open winner Brian Benhamou provided commentary for the French community. After more than five hours of battle, Guillaume Diaz and Yingui Li found themselves in a heads-up match that only two hands. Diaz moved all in with Heart 10Diamond 10, and was racing for his tournament life against Li’s Club KSpade J. The board rolled out Diamond KClub 9Diamond ASpade 5Spade 9 and Li was crowned the champion.

After the win, he stated that he is off to the Czech Republic to compete in WPT Prague.

For his efforts, Diaz walked away with a very healthy consolation prize of €100,000.

The entire festival at Cercle Clichy-Montmarte lasted from November 20-30 with several marquee events. The kickoff event was the €50,000 guaranteed €290 buy-in Warm Up, which attracted 422 players, and Emmanuel Kunstler was victorious and pocketed €22,000. The second event was the €2,200 buy-in WPTN High Roller, and four-time WPT National Main Event Champion Laurent Polito added to his trophy case, outlasting 140 players and winning €75,000.
