Los Angeles, CA (January 17, 2017) – Season XV of the World Poker Tour® continues with the WPT® Borgata Winter Poker Open at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. The $3,500 Championship boasts a $3 million guaranteed prize pool and runs January 29 through February 3, 2017.
The Season XV WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open $3,500 Championship, which features two starting flights and features both re-entry and “best stack forward” formats, headlines a 25-event schedule. Players may re-enter through the first 10 levels of play, with those participating on multiple Day 1’s allowed to take his or her best stack forward to Day 2.
Players on Day 1a and Day 1b of the Season XV WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open $3,500 Championship will play the first eight levels of the tournament, and will have two levels of late registration available on Day 2.
The full WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open festival begins January 17 with the Borgata Deepstack Kick-Off event. This event has a $560 buy-in, six starting flights, and a $2 million guaranteed prize pool.

In Season XIV, the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open $3,500 Championship attracted 1,171 entries and generated a prize pool of more than $3.7 million. Christopher Leong emerged victorious to capture his first WPT title and the $816,246 top prize.
On January 29, a player party will be held at Borgata’s Gypsy Bar following the conclusion of play.
