Vienna, one of the most popular poker destinations in Europe, will host poker players from all over during the upcoming partypoker WPT® National Vienna Festival of Poker to take place Oct. 13-23, 2016. The festival’s €1,100 Main Event will take place Oct. 19-23.
All of the action will be held at Montesino Wien, and there are several other featured events on tap to keep poker players of all levels very happy.
First up is the partypoker WPT National Vienna €340 Warm-Up starting on Oct. 13. This event has four starting flights and a big €200,000 guarantee. The four starting flights will be spread across Oct. 13-15, with a special last-chance turbo flight on Oct. 15 starting at 6 p.m. local time. The event will conclude on Oct. 17 with the live-streamed final table.
The €1,100 Main Event features two starting flights — one on Oct. 19 and the other on Oct. 20 — and late registration will remain open until the start of Day 2. Player will be allowed to re-enter in this tournament, with a maximum of four entries per player. Players who have played both opening flights have the option to bring their best stack forward if they advance from both flights.
Other top offerings on the schedule include the EPLOC €550 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event running Oct. 21-23, the EPLOC €220 H.O.R.S.E., and the EPLOC €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller on Oct. 23.
The World Poker Tour has held many successful events in Vienna, and this year’s partypoker WPT Vienna Festival of Poker is set to be another world-class experience.
