Los Angeles, CA (May 16, 2017) – World Poker Tour® today announced further international distribution of its industry-leading high-stakes poker content. WPT® Distribution, the World Poker Tour’s distribution arm, has partnered with global sports provider ELEVEN SPORTS Network in a deal that will see WPT and Alpha8™ content broadcast in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Season XIII of the World Poker Tour and Season I of WPT Alpha8 will broadcast on ELEVEN SPORTS’ linear and over-the-top channels in the neighboring European countries, starting in June.

The distribution deal with ELEVEN SPORTS Network returns televised WPT content, along with televised Alpha8 content, to the country of Belgium, where the World Poker Tour has held live events dating back to 2013. Oftentimes, multiple events have been held each year in the country, and the WPT looks forward to future live events in Belgium in the years ahead.
Founded in 2015, ELEVEN SPORTS Networks is available in 70 million homes worldwide. Programming includes professional soccer, basketball, football, tennis, auto racing, and now poker. In addition to Belgium and Luxembourg, ELEVEN SPORTS Networks broadcasts in Poland, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United States.
