The French Riviera will be booming with poker action starting May 30, 2017, when WPTDeepStacks, poker’s premier mid-major tournament circuit, takes to Cannes, France for the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes festival at Le Croisette Casino Barriere.
The series begins just two days after the world famous Cannes Film Festival and features nine great events. Headlining the festival’s schedule is the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes €1,200 Main Event taking place June 1-4.
Players in the Main Event have a choice of starting days, either Day 1a on June 1 or Day 1b on June 2, both beginning at 2 p.m. local time. Registration will close at the end of Level 9.

In addition to the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes €1,200 Main Event, the schedule features a €2,200 High Roller taking place June 3-4.
The PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes festival opens up with the two-day €350 No-Limit Hold’em Opener on May 30.

Also in play for the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes festival is a WPTDeepStacks Player of the Series award. The player who performs the best over the length of the full series will be crowned the WPTDeepStacks Cannes Player of the Series, winning a personalized trophy and a €400 buy-in into the next PMU.fr Carte Blanche event as part of a WPTDeepStacks festival. This winner will also receive a comped dinner for two people at the casino and a night for two at the Majestic Hotel.
The winner of the PMU.fr WPTDeepStacks Cannes €1,200 Main Event will receive a ticket to the WPTDeepStacks Europe season-ending event, plus the event will qualify players for the 2017 WPTDeepStacks European Player of the Year. The winner of the 2017 WPTDeepStacks European Player of the Year will earn €15,000 in buy-ins to WPT Main Tour events in Europe and a €5,000 WPTDeepStacks sponsorship package.
