Los Angeles, CA (November 10, 2017) – World Poker Tour® today announced DraftKings Inc. as a sponsor for the upcoming Season XVI WPT® European Championship taking place in Berlin, Germany, at Spielbank Casino from January 10-15, 2018. The festival features €1.6 million in total prize pool guarantees and kicks off with the €500,000 guaranteed WPTDeepStacks™ Berlin €1,500 Main Event from January 5-8, 2018.
As part of the sponsorship, beginning Sunday, November 12, 2017, DraftKings will run daily fantasy qualifying contests to send daily fantasy winners on a trip to Europe for a VIP poker experience. Winners will receive travel, accommodation, and entry into the WPT European Championship €3,300 Main Event. DraftKings’ qualifiers will also enjoy access to an exclusive player party and premier seating at the taping of the televised final table.
Players competing in the WPT European Championship €3,300 Main Event can also look forward to additional on-site DraftKings promotions with attractive prizes.
