Once again, ARIA Resort & Casino will host WPT500 Las Vegas. Taking place for the fifth year, WPT500 Las Vegas brings a huge prize pool to Sin City in the heat of the summer with an accessible $570 buy-in.

WPT500 Las Vegas is the marquee event of the 2018 ARIA Poker Classic schedule, and the highly anticipated event takes place starting on June 25, 2018. The event boasts nine starting flights, three of which are turbo flights. That means the same massive field and big payouts, but more money from each buy-in going back into the pockets of the players.

Day 2 of WPT500 Las Vegas will take place on Monday, July 2, and the final table is scheduled for Tuesday, July 3. More details, including a full structure sheet for the tournament, will be released soon.

The first four editions of WPT500 Las Vegas at ARIA Resort & Casino attracted a total of 16,209 entries. That’s an average field size of more than 4,000 entries! The total prize money awarded from the past four WPT500 Las Vegas events combined sits at $8.127 million, and there are high hopes that number will surpass $10 million this summer.

In the first year, it was Sean Yu taking the inaugural WPT500 Las Vegas title and $260,000 in first-place prize money. In the second year, Craig Varnell won the event for $330,000. In year three, it was Andreas Olympios scoring the victory for $260,000. In the fourth year, Jon Borenstein won the tournament for $230,000.
