Los Angeles, CA (November 21, 2019) World Poker Tour® today announced the Season XVIII WPT® Lucky Hearts Poker Open at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL from January 17-22, 2020. The WPT Main Event features a $3,500 buy-in and $2 million guarantee.
The WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open rounds out the Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open festival that also features the $1 million guaranteed WPTDeepStacks™ Hollywood event from January 9-14. Both events feature a live-streamed final table.
WPT and Seminole Hard Rock are partnering for three WPT Main Tour events in Season XVIII. The WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open follows the $2 million guaranteed WPT Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open at Seminole Hard Rock that starts on November 29; both take place prior to the televised WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown on April 30, 2020.
The most recent edition of the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open took place in Season XVI when Darryll Fish beat a field of 911 entries to win the $511,604 first-place prize. Other WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open champions include Brian Altman and James Calderaro.
Additional highlights on the Lucky Hearts Poker Open schedule include a $25,500 buy-in High Roller event on January 20 that includes a $1 million guarantee along with a $5,000 buy-in single-day event on January 21 that carries a $250,000 guarantee. The full festival is scheduled to take place from January 7-22, 2020.
