Los Angeles, CA (January 13, 2021) – The World Poker Tour® is a few weeks away from crowning its first WPT® Champions Club member of 2021 on partypoker. The WPT Montreal Online festival starts on January 17 and plays until February 1 highlighted by the $2 million guaranteed WPT Montreal Online Main Event taking place from January 17-27.
A total of 24 events are on the festival schedule including a $200,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event and a $30,000 guaranteed Micro Main Event. Players can enter the respective events for $320 and $33 and also have satellites available to enter starting at $.01.
The schedule also features eight high roller events, Progressive Knockout events, turbos, and Pot Limit Omaha. The $1 million guaranteed Super High Roller features a $25,500 buy-in and starts on January 24 with a live-streamed final table on January 25.
Poker fans from around the globe can look forward to the next WPT Online Champion being crowned on January 27 on a live streamed final table. Day 3 action on January 26 will be live streamed as well down to the final table. Day 1A of the WPT Main Event takes place on January 17 and is followed by Day 1B on January 24.
The WPT Montreal Online series will wrap in charitable fashion. The $10,300 buy-in Mike Sexton Classic will take place on January 31 and the $300 registration fee from all entries will be donated to the Nevada Partnership Homeless Youth charity. The charity works in Southern Nevada to put an end to youth homelessness. The event includes a $1 million guarantee and will be live streamed on February 1 to play down to a winner.
Live streams will be available in multiple languages on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
Phased qualifiers for WPT Montreal Online are running now on partypoker.
