Los Angeles, CA (Nov. 15, 2016) – The World Poker Tour® heads to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for the partypoker WPT® Caribbean. The seven-event festival begins Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, and runs through Friday, Nov. 25, featuring $3 million in total guarantees. Highlighting the schedule is the $5,000 Main Event, which boasts a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
The Main Event takes place Nov. 19-23 and features two starting flights, playing seven levels each. Single re-entry is allowed for each starting flight, and the final table will be live streamed around the world.

Elias, the most recent WPT Caribbean winner, took home $127,680 in first-place prize money in Season XIII. Before Elias, it was WPT Raw Deal Analyst and partypoker Ambassador Tony Dunst who earned the WPT Caribbean title and the $145,000 first-place prize in Season XII.
In addition to the partypoker WPT Caribbean $5,000 Main Event, which comes with a $1 million guarantee, the schedule will feature a $25,000 Super High Roller on Nov. 24.
