Miami, FL (September 7, 2022) – The World Poker Tour® returns to the high seas this November in partnership with Virgin Voyages with a six-day cruise through the Caribbean, featuring WPT® ambassadors Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme aboard. The world-class Scarlet Lady cruise ship includes a poker room that offers daily cash game and tournament action.
Departing from Miami, FL on Friday, Nov. 11, the cruise is set to take fans on a round-trip expedition, including two Caribbean-based port days. The first stop lands passengers on the snow-white shores of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for beach relaxation and city exploration. Secondly, a docking day in Bimini, Bahamas presents Sailors with a full day-and-night experience at the exclusive Beach Club at Bimini, complete with a DJ-led floatilla pool party.
“I’m eagerly looking forward to my first WPT Cruise, taking on the Caribbean seas,” said Owen. “And what better to go along with a relaxing vacation, than some poker competition? I plan on playing in a good mix of cash games and will definitely fire the Main Event.”
An array of poker action is scheduled across the WPT Cruise® itinerary. Cash games begin on the first day of the cruise. The tournament schedule includes an enticing Mystery Bounty event and is highlighted by the $500 Main Event.
