Our friends at Montreal’s Playground Poker Club are raising the ante on next month’s partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship by putting a $1 million guarantee on the CAD $1,100 championship event.
Beginning Thursday, March 27, this massive tournament features three Day 1s with re-entry, giving players plenty of chances to build a big stack and reach the final table, which will be live streamed on WPT.com on Tuesday, April 1 with commentary by Tony Dunst and special guests.
The Canadian Spring Championship is the premier event in Playground’s Poker Spring Classic, which starts Friday, March 21 and features 10 additional events with buy-ins starting for a little as CAD $150. Players looking to win their entry into the Championship event can compete in live satellites at Playground Poker Club or compete for their seats online at partypoker.
