Recently, we got a chance to catch up with Royal Flush Girl Ivy Teves and find out what makes her tick, some of her favorite things and what it’s like being one of the Royal Flush Girls. Below is the Q&A session with Ivy with some photos at the bottom from a recent photo shoot during WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio.
After being chosen as a Royal Flush Girl, how did you celebrate?
I took my mom and friends out to eat Sushi! They were so happy for me.
How many years have you been modeling?
I’ve been modeling on and off for about 12 years now. I started when I was 15 in print and commercial when a scout discovered me while I was shopping with my mom at the mall.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I am a black belt in martial arts and can kick people’s butt! LOL I can also tie a knot of a cherry stem with my tongue.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
I love my crème brulee, red velvet cupcake, big juicy burger, french fries, Jersey Shore TV show and shopping.
Who’s your celebrity crush?
Ryan Gosling, I love love him!
Alive or dead, you most want to hit the town with ____?
I would love to hit town with Angelina Jolie. I think she will definitely take me into all the fun and crazy places. Then probably feed the homeless after that. She is definitely a role model for me not only because she looks stunning but she is also a beautiful person inside and tries to help less fortunate children all over the world.
Do you sing in the shower?
Hahah Yep! I don’t have a great voice so I just sing in the shower. I usually make up my own song depending on my mood that day.
Favorite ice cream flavor?
Coffee and Peppermint Chocolate ice cream is Yummy!
Compared to the other Royal Flush Girls, how’s your poker game?
I definitely have the most experience. I love the game! Winning is just an added bonus.
Poker players can be very superstitious — Are you?
No, not really. I do carry a good luck bracelet given to me by my mom wherever I go.
What is your favorite movie?
I love Beauty and the Beast and 50 First Dates.
Most played on your iTunes?
David Guetta, Jay Z and Adelle.
When not hanging out at the Royal Flush Girls Social Bar, you enjoy ____?
I love snowboarding, golf, billiards, the beach, playing with my dogs, watching movies, eating in new restaurants, shopping, drinking coffee, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, taking dance classes, going to the spa, getting massages, going for a run, spending time with my family and traveling the world.
