Day 3 has come to a close at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio, and leading the final 91 players is Eddie Ochana with 566,500 chips. The tournament is 28 eliminations from the money – the top 63 players earn a minimum of $21,074.

Other top stacks were bagged up by Billy Baxter (543,500), Sam Soverel (540,000), Cliff Josephy (532,000), Darlene Lee (521,000), Kevin Saul (502,000), and Paul Volpe (496,500). Some of the other familiar faces to advance were Pat Lyons, Tony Ruberto, Eddy Sabat, Darryll Fish, Joe Tehan, Keven Stammen, Brian Rast, Phil Laak, Scott Seiver, Joe Serock, Mukul Pahuja, and Daniel Negreanu.

The notables that busted on Day 3 included Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Will Failla, Scott Clements, JC Tran, John Hennigan, Darren Elias, Freddy Deeb, Maria Ho, Loni Harwood, Antonio Esfandiari, Season XIII Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno, and WPT co-commentator and Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton.
