Jake Schwartz ended Day 5 of the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at Bellagio with 7,215,000 chips, commanding the chip lead at the televised final table. Joining him on Saturday at 4 pm under the cameras and light will be Kevin Eyster (5,890,000), Ben Yu (1,965,000), Eddie Ochana (1,840,000), Cate Hall (1,290,000), and William Jennings (980,000).

Schwartz, Eyster, and Hall can all take the lead in the Hublot WPT Player of the Year race, depending upon their finish and the finish of others on Saturday.

Day 5 began with 21 players, and Season XIII WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic finalist Brett Shaffer was the first player to exit. Following him out the door were Season XII WPT World Champion Keven Stammen (19th, $37,190), Darryll Fish (15th, $52,686), Curt Kohlberg (13th, $52,686), Paul Volpe (12th, $68,181), and Lauren Roberts (7th, $173,552).
