Day 1A has come to a close at the WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble in Jacksonville, Florida and 73 players have advanced from the 188 that entered today. The chip leader at the end of the night is Barry Hutter with 284,200. He takes home the $5,000 chip leader bonus.

Other top stacks include three-time Super Bowl champion Richard Seymour with 231,800 and Peter Walsworth with 193,700. There is a pretty big drop off after those top three, but notables that advanced with six figures include Scotty Nguyen, Ray Qartomy, Mike Linster, Andy Hwang, Loni Harwood, Blake Bohn, Blake Bohn, and Ryan Riess.

Some familiar faces that didn’t advance today included WPT Champions Club members Noah Schwartz, Scott Clements, Marvin Rettenmaier, David Paredes, Darren Elias, Cornel Cimpan, Jonathan Little, and Jared Jaffee; WPT Commentators Vince Van Patten and Mike Sexton; and reigning Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno. They all have a chance to re-enter when cards get back into the air for Day 1B here at bestbet Jacksonville.

Day 1B begins on Saturday at noon ET. A larger starting field than today is expected, and players can re-enter as many times as they like before the start of Level 7. Tune back in for live updates, chips counts, and photos from the WPT live reporting team.
