Harpreet Gill (pictured; 993,000) leads the final 63 players in the partypoker.net WPT Montreal Main Event after Day 2 on Monday. Gill edged out Trevor Delaney (968,000) for the chip lead, and Rainer Kemp (840,000) was the only other player with more than 800,000 in chips at Playground Poker Club.
Amazingly, four players with multiple WPT titles are still in the hunt in Montreal heading to Day 3: Cornel Cimpan (415,000), Darren Elias (244,000), Anthony Zinno (166,000), and Freddy Deeb (150,000). Elias can take the lead in the Season XIV Hublot WPT Player of the Year race with a seventh-place finish or better, pending the finishing position of Trevor Delaney, who placed fifth in the partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship earlier this season at Playground.
