The second edition of WPT® National Iberia will take place Oct. 13-16, 2016, with the Grand Final on the Oct. 22-23 in Vilamoura, Portugal. This event presents a special opportunity for players to qualify for the Grand Final by participating at three different venues and all will be vying for a piece of the €333,333 guaranteed prize pool.

The previous WPT National Iberia event attracted nearly 500 players and received incredibly positive feedback from the poker community, leaving expections high for an even bigger festival this time.

The three venues involved are Casino Barcelona, located alongthe beautiful Mediterranean beaches and close to the city center in Barcelona, Casino Gran Madrid, the largest and the most prestigious casino in Madrid, and Casino Vilamoura, perfectly located as a center of tourist attraction next to the Praia de Vilamoura and marina.

For the festival’s Grand Final, play will move to Casino Vilamoura and its exclusive five-star Hotel Algarve. Those attending the WPT National Iberia Grand Final WPT Players will have the opportunity to stay in the resort’s luxurious quarters for discounted prices starting at €72 for a single room.

The three individual events leading into the Grand Final feature a buy-in of €750. Players will begin with 30,000 in tournament chips, play 40-minutes levels, and have one re-entry allowed per starting day. Late registration will close at the end of Level 11.

Players can look forward to an unforgettable experience provided by the WPT and three venues involved.

At Casino Gran Madrid, there is a package that includes a fantastic Euroleague Basketball game between Real Madrid and Olympiakos on Oct. 12.  The capital of Spain is known for its rich museums, especially the Prado, which is one of the most important in the world. Madrid also loves nightlife, and the fiesta is in the blood of every citizen as this city truly never sleeps. The Teatro Kapital is a great spot for entertainment with its different floors and varying types of music.
