The first edition of the WPT National Iberia Main Event, powered by Multi Venue Series, attracted 483 entries from Spain and Portugal to compete for a €333,333 prize pool.
The Multi Venue Series kicked off simultaneously on Thursday, May 12 at the three venues for Day 1A, followed by Day 1B on Friday. Registration was open during Day 2, and the final numbers look like this:

– Casino Barcelona 136 entries
– Casino Gran Madrid 151 entries

The prize pool will reward the last 49 players of the €750 Main Event before the last 35 players move to Madrid on May 21 and 22 for the Finale at the Casino Gran Madrid. The winner of the WPT National Iberia Main Event will pocket €80,000 and the coveted WPT National trophy.
