The final table was set after an exciting Day 3 of action. Pedro Claus led the final 38 players into play, all in the money and guaranteed $2,495. Also in the mix was Andres Korn, winner of the first-ever WPT National Thailand Main Event.

In quick succession, Wendel Cader (38th), Jean Paulo Da Silva (37th), and Federico Herrera (36th) were the first three players to bust. Daniel Larizzate then went out in 35th, and the payouts began to pile up.

Falling in 28th position was Bruno Foster, then Korn hit the rail in 23rd place. Korn went out when his pocket nines ran into the pocket queens of Marcelo Mesqueu.

Claus, the start-of-day chip leader, busted in 17th place at the hands of José Latorraca, and then Mesqueu went out in 15th.

Out in 12th was Leonardo Lisi, having been eliminated by Ferreyra with his Diamond KSpade 9 couldn’t hold up against Ferreyra’s Heart QSpade 10, according to updates from Codigo Poker. Then it was Franco Spitale (11th), Alejandro Sicuro (10th), and Luiz Paim (9th) as the final three players to go before the remaining eight players bagged their chips.

On the final hand of Day 3, Paim was all in with the Heart AClub 4 against Luiz Montagna’s Spade ASpade J. The board ran out Club JDiamond 10Spade 5Spade QSpade 8 to bust Paim.

Ferreyra has a big lead entering Sunday’s final table, holding more than 1.2 million above the second-place stack of Affif Prado (1.942 million). Cristian Vilches is in third place on the leaderboard with 1.125 million. Ferreyra has direct position on both Prado and Vilches at the final table.
