The World Poker Tour will be in Argentina for the first time ever for Brasil Poker Live Presents: WPT Argentina at Casino Iguazú.
The WPT Argentina $1,500 Main Event is the highlight of the festival, taking place March 14-19. The tournament features three starting flights across two days, March 14-15. The third starting flight will be played with a turbo format.
Casino Iguazú is located in Puerto Iguazú in the northeast tip of Argentina that neighbors Paraguay and Brazil. Casino Iguazú is just about a 30-minute drive from the breathtaking Iguazú Falls. Stretching nearly two miles, Iguazú Falls is comprised of close to 275 waterfalls and provide visitors with astonishing views of one of the world’s most powerful wonders.
In addition to the Main Event, the WPT Argentina schedule has four other featured poker tournaments, ranging in buy-ins from $300-$3,000. You can view the events and dates below (all times local).

– 8 p.m. – $3,000 buy-in High Roller No-Limit Hold’em (reentries are $2,000)
Saturday, March 17
– 8 p.m. – $500 buy-in Second Chance No-Limit Hold’em
Sunday, March 18
– 8 p.m. – $300 buy-in Last Chance No-Limit Hold’em
For those interested in qualifying for the event live, Casino Iguazú will host two satellite qualifiers for $150 each. The first one is March 13 at 8 p.m. local time, and the second is March 14 at 8 p.m. local time. In addition to the winners from these satellites, the Aconcagua Poker network is sending players to the tournament.
