The Lucky Hearts Poker Open has returned to the World Poker Tour schedule for Season XVI, and with it comes a festival of 24 events that will be held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Kicking Off with a WPTDeepStacks Bang
The festival kicks off with the WPTDeepStacks Hollywood $1,100 Main Event, complete with three starting flights and a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. This tournament kicks off on Thursday, January 11, 2018, and will conclude with its final table on Tuesday, January 16.
Beyond the $1 million guarantee that the prize pool brings to the table, the WPTDeepStacks Hollywood Main Event is guaranteed to be a big one. Last season’s event attracted 1,509 entries with a first-place payout of $290,687. The season prior to that, a field of 1,684 entries turned up and generated a first-place prize of $341,420.
$2 Million Guarantee on the Main Event
The Season XVI WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Main Event kicks off on Friday, January 19. The event has a $3,500 buy-in and boasts a $2 million guarantee on the prize pool. That means, between this event and the WPTDeepStacks Hollywood Main Event taking place at the same festival, $3 million in guarantees are provided.
The WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Main Event has two starting flights and will conclude on Wednesday, January 24, with its final table.
$50,000 Super High Roller Offers $1 Million Guarantee
Squeezed into the schedule between the WPTDeepStacks Hollywood Main Event and the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Main Event is the biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule, the $50,000 Super High Roller. This event is for those with deep pockets who think they can compete with the best of the best, and it all comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. The Lucky Hearts Poker Open $50,000 Super High Roller is a two-day event and takes place January 17-18.
$25,500 High Roller Also with a $1 Million Guarantee
The final event we’ll highlight is the $25,000 buy-in Lucky Hearts Poker Open High Roller event that takes place January 22-23. This two-day event also comes with a seven-figure guarantee on the prize pool at $1 million.
