Season 3 of WPT Alpha8 kicked off on Friday at the legendary Bellagio in Las Vegas, where the second edition of WPT Alpha8 Las Vegas attracted 38 entries. Registration remains open until the beginning of Level 9 at approximately 2:15 pm PT, and players may re-enter as many times as they please if they bust.
Jake Schindler leads the remaining 31 players from Day 1 with 626,000 chips. GPI Player of the Year leader Byron Kaverman is on his heels with 597,000 and Keith Tilson rounds out the top three chip stacks with 588,000. Also among the survivors are Season XIII Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno, WSOP Main Event champion Joe McKeehen, WPT Alpha8 St. Kitts champion Jason Mercier, WPT Alpha8 Florida champion Jason Mercier, and WPT Champions Club member Daniel Negreanu.
