Los Angeles, CA (August 16, 2018) – WPTDeepStacks™ (WPTDS™) today announced a new partnership with Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for a new tour stop. Poker’s premier mid-major tournament circuit hits Rivers Casino this October for WPTDS Pittsburgh. The WPTDS Pittsburgh series kicks off October 17, 2018, with the $1,100 Main Event running October 25-29 and boasting a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.
WPTDS Pittsburgh joins a robust offering of tournaments on the tour’s schedule, falling between WPTDS San Diego and WPTDS Thunder Valley. The WPTDS Pittsburgh $1,100 Main Event has three starting flights, with one taking place each day across October 25-27. WPTDS Pittsburgh is an eligible event in the WPTDS North America Player of the Year competition.

In addition to the $300,000 guaranteed Main Event, WPTDS Pittsburgh features a $100,000 guaranteed opening event. The opener has a buy-in of $360, five starting flights, and runs October 17-21. The WPTDS Pittsburgh schedule also features a $560 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool. The pot-limit Omaha event takes place October 25.
