Los Angeles, CA (April 9, 2015) — Following immediately after the Season XIII WPT^® World Championship, Season XIV of the World Poker Tour^® kicks off on May 1 at Playground Poker Club with the partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship. The CAD $3,500 buy-in WPT Main Tour event features two starting flights with next-day re-entry. Players who bag on Day 1A may also play Day 1B, and if they bag on both days they will forfeit their smallest stack.

Players can qualify directly at Playground via the MegaWheel, Tournament Leaderboard, or in one of several live satellites. Qualifiers are also live on partypoker.net, where players can win a $4,500 partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship package for as little as $5.

Direct buy-in is available 24 hours per day at Playground Poker Club, and players can buy-in online at www.playgroundpoker.ca.

The partypoker.net WPT Canadian Spring Championship headlines the impressive 16-event Playground Poker Spring Classic (sponsored by partypoker), which kicks off on April 19 with The Wild $150, a CAD $150 buy-in, CAD $100,000 guaranteed event. The action continues with a CAD $250 buy-in CAD $200,000 guarantee (April 24), a CAD $1,000 buy-in WPT Warm Up (April 29), and a new CAD $1,650 buy-in Second Chance event for players who are unable to navigate to the later days of the championship event.
