Day 4 has ended at the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic and there are just 12 players remaining in the hunt for the top prize of $1,015,860 and a WPT title in this $10,000 buy-in single-entry event. The runaway chip leader at the end of play tonight is Peter Tran with 4,120,000. He started the day with a chip lead of 1,369,000 and he didn’t look back as he continued momentum throughout the day. Tran holds over 25 percent of the chips in play at this point in the tournament.

The Season XIII WPT Player of the Year points leader Anthony Zinno is charging deep into yet another WPT event this season. He is fresh off of his second WPT title at the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic, and he will be looking to make back-to-back televised final tables tomorrow. Zinno is the only WPT Champions Club member still in the field but there are a number of talented players returning with him tomorrow, including Mike Leah, Peter Neff, Ken Aldridge, Ray Henson, and Chris Klodnicki. You’ll have to tune in tomorrow to see what players will advance to the final table from this select group.
