Q: Can you play partypoker presents: WPT500 at ARIA and the Main Event of the WSOP (which has starting days on July 5-6-7)?
Sexton: YES! Here’s how – If you opt to play in the WSOP main event on July 5, you can play the WPT500 at ARIA on July 4, 6, 7, or 9. If you play the WSOP main event on July 6, you can play the WPT500 at ARIA on July 4, 5, 7, or 9.

Q: If I bust out early, can I re-enter the same day?
Savage: No, only ONE entry per day. You may enter the following day.
Q: Are the 2015 WPT 500 seats for final table participants and the UK package for the winner coming out of the prize pool?
Savage: Not out of the prize pool, those are “added” packages.
Q: Do we have to register early for WPT500?
Savage: Same day is fine, but you could risk being an alternate.
Q: Can you cash multiple times at WPT500?
Savage: Yes, you can cash up to six times, including the turbo.
Q: What if I make Day 2 but only have a few chips. Can I enter the next day to try for a bigger stack?
Sexton: Players who play multiple Day1’s can carry their biggest stack forward to Day 2.
Q: What do the blinds start at on Day 2?
Savage: Blinds reset to the lowest day one finishing level.
Example: If Day 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E and 1F end on level 18 but Day 1A ends on level 16, Day 2 starts at level 16.
Q: What percentage gets paid?
Savage: Roughly 12% make the money, with top 5% moving on to Day 2.

Buy-in: $500 + $65
Guaranteed Prize Pool: $1,000,000

Day 1A – Friday July 4th @ 12pm
Day 1B – Saturday July 5th @ 12pm
Day 1C – Sunday July 6th @ 12pm
Day 1D – Monday July 7th @ 12pm
Day 1E – Tuesday July 8th @ 12pm
Day 1F – Wednesday July 9th @ 8:30am (Turbo)
Day 2 & Final Table – Wednesday July 9th @ 1pm
Starting Chips: 15,000
Level Structure: One through eight are 30 minutes, then 40 minutes until Final Table. Final table is 60 minute levels.
Added Value (on top of the prize pool)
- All WPT500 final table participants (final 9 players) will receive a buy-in to next year’s WPT500 at ARIA along with hotel accommodation.
- The winner of WPT500 at ARIA will get a $2,000 package to the upcoming partypoker presents: WPT500 at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, UK. This event is scheduled to take place from November 11-16, 2014. It will feature a buy-in of £500 and a guaranteed prize pool of £1,000,000.
ARIA Poker Information
- You need to have an M-life card to enter the tournament
- It is recommended you bring two photo IDs (preferably passport and driver’s license, especially if you’re from overseas)
- Single-table $145 double-winner satellites will be offered at 2pm daily (space permitting) and will award two players with seats to the WPT500 event and $80 cash
- Tuesday, July 1, a series of 11- $125 Super Satellites will begin, awarding a seat for approximately every seven players who enter.
