Los Angeles, CA (July 16, 2020) – The World Poker Tour® and partypoker are setting the stage for an unrivaled schedule of poker live streams and production during the upcoming $100 million guaranteed WPT® World Online Championships.
WPT and partypoker are partnering with production powerhouse ShareHand to create a final table live stream comparable to the viewing experience of a live WPT final table. Viewers can expect high-quality production value and familiar voices from WPT and partypoker in the Twitch booth when the series kicks off on July 17. All final tables will feature cards up on a short delay.
Real names of the final tablists will be broadcast on the live streams to give viewers an optimal experience to replicate a live WPT final table.
All 12 WPT World Online Championship Main Events will be streamed, including the five WPT Champions Cup tournaments, which will play to a respective winner on August 4, 11, 18, 25, and September 9.
WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage will be the lead voice for the five WPT Champions Cup events and will be joined by WPT TV talent Vince Van Patten, Tony Dunst, and Lynn Gilmartin, along with former WPT commentator Mike Sexton as well as WPT Champions Club member and partypoker LIVE lead commentator James Dempsey.
Commentary for the streams will be available in additional languages including Russian, German, Portuguese, and Spanish with localized commentators.
