Los Angeles, CA (March 4, 2019) World Poker Tour® today looks forward to the largest poker festival ever held in Europe. WPT® Barcelona, powered by partypoker LIVE, starts on March 8 at Casino Barcelona with more than €5.7 million guaranteed across all three WPT offerings.
The first-of-its-kind festival in Europe starts on March 8 with the €1 million guaranteed WPT500. The event is the inaugural WPT500 event in Barcelona and opens the first WPT festival in the country since Season XI. On March 11, the WPT Barcelona Main Event starts live play with a €3 million guarantee in play along with a €3,300 buy-in. The WPT Barcelona champion will be crowned on March 17.
On March 3 and March 10, partypoker is hosting two online Day 1 flights for the WPT Barcelona Main Event with players who advance playing on Day 2 in Barcelona on March 14. partypoker is also guaranteeing 10 seats via satellites into the online Day 1 flights.
