Los Angeles, CA (October 21, 2013) – World Poker Tour’s Main Tour makes its first visit to Florida in Season XII when the WPT bestbet Fall Poker Scramble kicks off at bestbet Jacksonville on Friday, November 15.
Added to the WPT schedule last year, the Season XI bestbet Fall Poker Scramble quickly proved to be a fan-favorite event, attracting 477 entries, including Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth. Generating a total prize pool worth more than $1.5 million, the tournament’s $402,970 first-place prize – and a coveted spot on the WPT Champions Cup – was claimed in dramatic fashion by Florida-based pro Noah Schwartz who earned his first WPT title at his fourth WPT final table.
With a $3,500 buy-in and two Day 1s with re-entry, this year’s ClubWPT.com-sponsored event is once again expected to draw a strong field filled with top pros including Schwartz, Matt Waxman, John Racener, Zo Karim, and WPT Champions Club members Bobby Oboodi, and Kevin Eyster. The tournament’s final table will be live streamed on www.WPT.com starting at 4:30pm ET on Tuesday, November 19 with commentary by Tony Dunst.

All Main Event players will be treated to a free dinner buffet on Days 1 and 2, and are invited to attend a welcome reception between 5pm and 7pm on Day 1A where they can socialize with WPT cast members including Vince Van Patten and WPT Royal Flush Girls Danielle Ruiz and Jeannie Duffy.
