World Poker Tour will once again be flying into Canada for a festival of poker offering up over CAD 5m in guarantees.

In partnership with partypoker LIVE, Montreal’s very own Playground Poker Club will enable players to take part in the WPT experience in one of the world’s best poker rooms across October 20-November 3 2019.

Chance your hand on the WPT Main Tour in a bid to join the prestigious WPT Champions Club, and also take part in the popular WPT500 and WPTDeepStacks, as well as a full festival of events.

Patrick Serda winer

Canada’s very own Patrick Serda (pictured) is the current WPT Montreal Main Event defending champion after he battled through a 792 player-field back in October 2018 to win C$855,000. Serda added his name to the WPT Champions Club after a heads-up victory over Ema Zajmovic, who was looking to secure her second WPT title on her fourth final table appearance.

Also at the final table on that day was more of the world’s best poker talent including Sorel Mizzi, former WPTDeepStacks winner Upeshka De Silva, and WPT Player of the Year Jonathan Little. Other players who were among the lucky names able to turn their C$5,300 buy-in into a cash were Simon Deadman, David Guay, Mike Leah, Sam Cohen, Jordan Westmorland, Lawrence Ma, Jason Mangold, Marvin Rettenmaier, David Peters, Melanie Weisner, and Ari Engel.

Make the Money Online

Play your way into the WPT Montreal Main Event money places online at partypoker.com with the brand new Day 1+2 flight.

At 16:00 (Montreal Local Time) on Sunday, October 20 the online CAD 3,300 Day 1+2 online flight will begin, with 19 levels each 24 minutes in length, giving players to chance to qualify for the live Day 3 at Playground Poker Club and a guaranteed spot in the money places.

This unique way to combine online and live poker gives players more flexibility over their travel and expenditure, and was recently featured during the partypoker MILLIONS Europe at King’s Casino, Rozvadov.

WPT500 will also feature five online flights across October 20-24, with all players making the live Day 2 guaranteed a cash.
