Day 1A has come to a close at the WPT Borgata Poker Open with approximately 180 players remaining from the 376 that took their seats this morning in search of their portion of the $3,000,000 GTD prize pool. The chip leader at the end of play tonight is Cong Pham (pictured above) with 191,025. He will take home $5,000 from the Borgata as the chip leader today and $3,500 will go to Besnik Ziba for finishing second in chips with 183,375.

Other top stacks include Thomas Campbell with 181,025, Jeff Fielder with 175,400, and Peter Vitantonio with 158,000. Familiar faces near the top are Eric Baldwin with 131,475 and Cliff Josephy with 123,000.

Also in the field were numerous WPT Champions Club members including Andy Hwang, Shawn Cunix, Will Failla, Matt Salsberg, Matt Waxman, Scott Seiver, Kevin Saul, Amir Babakhani, Tony Ruberto, Prahlad Friedman, Lee Markholt, Steve Brecher, Jonathan Little, Phil Laak, newest Champions Club member Jordan Cristos and defending champ Ben Hamnett. Moving onto Day 2 and getting a much needed day off were Scott, Kevin, Amir, Tony, Prahlad, Lee, Steve, Jonathan, Phil and Ben.

WPT Season XII Ones to Watch Christina Lindley, Jeff Gross, Loni Harwood and Aaron Massey were also in action, but only Christina moved on.

Other notables to join us today were Chad Brown, Joe Kuether, Todd Terry, Matt Glantz, Tim West, Ari Engel, Chris Reslock, Vanessa Selbst, Brian Hastings, Matt Affleck, Lee Childs, Justin Zaki, Allen Kessler, Christina Harder, Cliff Josephy, Eric Baldwin and many others.
