There were 174 players that returned for Day 3 at WPT Borgata Poker Open yesterday, and by the end of the night there were still 36 players left standing, which means there will a long march down to the WPT television final table of six when play resumes today, Thursday, at Noon ET.

The chip leader and player with the best chance of making that TV final table is Cong Pham, who paces the field with 2,548,000. Other top stacks are Jake Schwartz (2,145,000), David Johnston (2,050,000), David Randall (2,020,000), and Vanessa Selbst (1,739,000). Familiar faces that are still in contention include Raj Vohra, Cliff Josephy, Billy Pilossoph, Alexander Rocha, Richard Tatalovich, and Matt Glantz.

The money bubble burst today well in advance of the dinner break, and the notables that made a deep run were Mark Rose (37th), Paul Volpe (39th), Ebony Kenney (41st), Alex Queen (42nd), Matt Salsberg (46th), Bobby Oboodi (47th), Christina Lindley (49th), Justin Zaki (50th), Amir Babakhani (51st), Tyler Patterson (53rd), Jonathan Little (59th), and Daniel Buzgon (60th).

Tune back in on Thursday at 12:00 ET to see which players will make the final table here in Atlantic City. The WPT Live Updates team will be here to bring you all of the action, including hand-for-hand updates once we shrink the field to just one single table.
