As the televised WPT Foundation Ladies’ Night Invitational draws closer, we want to give you some information on another one of the worthy women’s charities named as one of the tournament’s beneficiaries.
The charity of choice for poker pro Vanessa Rousso, the National Council for Research on Women (NCRW), is a network of leading university and community based research, policy, and advocacy centers dedicated to advancing rights and opportunities for women and girls. NCRW’s areas of research cover a wide spectrum of issues ranging from women’s leadership issues, to equality and diversity issues, and health and reproductive rights to issues of violence against women.
