During World Poker Tour episodes all season long (every Sunday at 8/11pm on FSN), viewers have seen clips of WPT Foundation’s outreach programs into the local communities on our tour stops. During WPT World Championship Super High Roller – Episode 2, the WPT Royal Flush Girls visit with poker player Dan Fleyshman and the non-profit organization he founded, Model Citizen Fund.

Here’s a little about Model Citizen Fund from their website:

Model Citizen Fund is a non-profit organization that provides a platform where people can see a true and immediate cause & effect by donating backpacks with over 100 items inside to underprivileged people around the world, giving them the tools and confidence to build/rebuild their lives. Whether it’s a natural disaster, a famine stricken village in Africa, or a homeless shelter, our backpack will contain all necessary items to help someone survive.

And here’s a video about their mission:

Tune in on Sunday night to catch all of the action – both on and off the felt – and make sure to visit the WPT Foundation site to learn more about these outreach programs.
