While in town to film WPT Parx Open Poker Classic – airs this Sunday at 8pm & 11pm local time on FSN – the WPT Royal Flush Girls, along with WPT Hosts Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten, took a trip to nearby Bensalem, PA, to visit with the Bensalem Emergency Medical Services. This is the mission statement from their website:

The mission of the Bensalem Rescue Squad is to provide competent and caring aid to the victims of emergencies in our community, through prevention, public education, and emergency services. The mission of the Squad includes cooperating with other services and aggressively seeking ways to better protect and treat the public we serve.

Parx Casino has donated more than $400,000 to Bensalem EMS over the last 5 years, enabling them to add a third crew to their rotation. This addition dropped their response time from 17 minutes down to 8 minutes, giving responders and victims life-saving minutes.

Watch the video for more information and make sure to visit the WPT Foundation website to read more about the charitable efforts of World Poker Tour. And make sure to tune in this Sunday at 8pm and 11pm local time to catch all of the action from Parx Casino as WPT Parx Open Poker Classic concludes and a new WPT Champion crowned.
