World Poker Tour’s first televised event of Season XI – WPT Parx Open Poker Classic – starts in less than a week at the beautiful Parx Casino near Philadelphia, PA.
With its $3,500 buy-in (featuring re-entry on Day 1), fantastic structure, and the chance to play for the winner’s share of a multi-million dollar prize pool, this tournament is going to draw an amazing field of both professional and amateur players to the tables. On August 9, all WPT Main Event participants are invited to an exclusive VIP Welcome Party at Parx’s hottest nightclub, 360, where you can drink and dance with your favorite WPT cast members and the gorgeous WPT Royal Flush Girls. On August 11, WPT Champions Club members and ClubWPT VIPs looking for some action outside the casino can join the Royal Flush Girls for some world-class soccer at a special outing to watch Spain’s Real Madrid play Scottish Premier League champions Celtic in a friendly match in Philadelphia on August 11.
VIPs wanting to stay closer to Parx can try their hand at handicapping by joining their favorite WPT cast members for an afternoon of horse racing at Parx Racetrack, starting at 2pm ET on August 12, and spend an evening enjoying drinks and appetizers while playing video games with the Royal Flush Girls at Chickies & Petes Sports Bar starting at 6pm ET on August 13.
